Creative people seek inspiration by reflecting upon themselves, the people around them as well as their environment. Taking valuable time out of a busy schedule is critical if you want to think outside the box, discover new products, services, solutions, processes, etc. Moreover, individuals have to consciously step away just for a couple of hours from the daily humdrum in order to refocus, rejuvenate and reprioritize their lives. This mindful exercise allows them to build the most creative solutions that are then successfully introduced into the market.
Igor Radic, CEO of Funifier, and the team follow these same principles to find creative ways to engage their customers, clients and employees. Sharing his thoughts on defining creativity, Igor says, “Creativity is all about using your imagination, thinking outside of the box, seeing something in a new way, which leads to creating inventive solutions, processes, techniques, etc.”
Since his formative years, Igor had the inclinations and tendencies of becoming a successful entrepreneur. Today, his complete mindset is focused on leadership 3.0 at a global scale. This outlook comes from Igor’s international background, education and professional experience. Igor had the chance to travel extensively and live in different parts of the world since his early childhood. This gave him an international perspective about life, communications and relationships that allows him to understand and appreciate different cultures as well as find optimal ways of motivating teams to accomplish awesomeness within Funifier and its clients.
Explaining his outlook towards life and success, Igor says, “You need to see things broadly. You need to be open-minded and free from blinders. Everything around us is linked, one way or the other, whether we like it or not. Being in an industry (Gamification) that can impact all the others means that you need to stay focused and alert about what is happening globally as well as make the potential impact of the solution. This requires constant reading and most importantly, strong communication with the team and clients to share what you see and learn.”
Coming from a technical and team management background, the most logical path for Igor was to get involved in the Gamification space. Ricardo Lopes Costa, CTO of Funifier, introduced Igor to the Gamification solution that was in development and thus Funifier was born.
Based in Montreal, Canada, Funifier is a Gamification solution provider that drives business and engagement across different industries and continents. Funifier is made up of a mission-driven team that provides a gamification solution that rapidly increases engagement while ensuring that everyone has fun along the way. It offers one of the fastest ways to add Gamification across any type of environment (mobile application, website, intranet, etc.) to engage the end users. The most recent example is the Adidas X App that Funifier delivered for the FIFA 2018 World Cup. The complete project, including design and integration, was completed in less than four (4) weeks.
Funifier’s unique offering is in how dramatically its solution can positively impact an organization while being user-friendly and intuitive so that any team can use the software. Furthermore, it is easily implemented in the company’s current environment, regardless of the systems that are already in place.
Today after six successful years, 998+ integrations, 100+ of game techniques, and counting over 15 million users Funifier has made a strong mark for itself in this booming industry. Acknowledging the fact that the best way to compete in this business is by staying a few steps ahead of the competition, Funifier is doing an excellent job on a global level.
Igor has been exposed to global markets and cultures for a very long time and spends most of his time operating Funifier on a global scale. Moreover, the dynamic CEO makes his mission to mentor startups on the road to global success by avoiding the hidden pitfalls. Although a CEO’s role is crucial, the complete team’s effort and dedication in providing great support and assistance is ultimate, what makes Funifier a success. The CEO, in this modern world, is a servant leader.
Although everyone understands what engagement is, as well as the value it brings, not many can really visualize how to implement and execute a plan to increase this key metric. Igor explains that there is a lot of coaching and educating involved with the staff, clients, prospects and the general public to clarify the true meaning of Gamification and how it increases engagement.
Funifier’s Gamification Solutions are incredibly powerful, robust and versatile so that they can meet the needs of projects across different environments, teams, companies, industries, and countries. Yet, the implementation is always unique as the customer’s needs and objectives are specific to the company’s reality. Igor and his team start by understanding what the pain points are and then offer a strategy and plan to deliver the expected solution and results.
Igor believes that there will always be a generation gap. Sharing one of his personal experiences, Igor reveals, “My grandmother never hopped on a plane. I was born when PCs were coming out and my son, who is 6 years old, touches the image on the TV and asks why it is not working. The other day he looked at a tape recorder and asked me what it was. So we are all born with different expectations in our lifetime and we adapt quickly to the innovation that comes along.” Having to build custom solutions that span across different generations requires creativity from the Funifier team to find innovative ways to engage the target audiences. And they have fun along the way!
